Our Mission & Philosophy

Baum Orthodontics’ Practice Mission and Philosophy:

  • We strive on a consistent basis to make our practice the one that is thought of first and considered with the most respect in the community.
  • We will create positive, long lasting relationships with our patients, their parents, and the referring dentists.
  • We will always treat patients as if they were “guests in our home”.
  • We are dedicated to the highest quality of overall patient care.
  • We will maintain the highest standard of integrity and ethics.
  • We will create opportunities to make each day fun for the office staff and our guests.
  • We will strive to be a healthy, happy, and dedicated staff.

At our office, we ensure that patients receive the most advanced orthodontic care. Our office regularly attends seminars and conferences devoted to orthodontic treatment, new technology and patient care. With patient care as our top priority, this is our commitment to you.

Consultation

Your first visit to the doctor typically includes an x-ray that allows the doctor to view the structure of the jaw, the position of any teeth that have not yet erupted, malformed roots, and tooth decay. This information will help the doctor to select the most safe and effective method of treatment for you. After the doctor has evaluated your records, the treatment coordinator will discuss any follow-up treatment with you in detail, including the cost for your particular case.

Appointments

Since many of our patients are of school age, we work very hard to limit morning appointments. We will make every attempt to accommodate your schedule. Morning appointments are required for placement or removal of braces or other lengthy procedures. Each patient’s treatment is on an individual basis. Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, and appreciate your cooperation.

Your Dentist

We will stay in communication with your family dentist to make sure you are getting the best overall care possible. During treatment, it is important that you continue to see your dentist for regular check ups and cleanings on a regular schedule.

Insurance

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion may be paid using one of our flexible payment options. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services on your behalf. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
